Terms and Conditions

Welcome to The Crafter’s Escape. By accessing this website or booking a stay at our retreat, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

Booking and Reservations

All retreat stays require a minimum of two nights. A booking is confirmed only after a deposit of $50 per person is received. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days prior to arrival.
The Crafter’s Escape reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking if these terms are not met.

Pricing and Payments

The cost of a standard retreat is $350 per person for two nights and three days. An additional no-frills night may be added for $50 per person, subject to availability.

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Payment details will be provided at the time of booking.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

All bookings are non-refundable. Deposits and payments are not refundable under any circumstances, including cancellations, no-shows, or early departures.

Guests are encouraged to ensure their availability and commitment before booking.

Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in and check-out times will be communicated prior to arrival. Guests must vacate the property by the designated check-out time on the day of departure.

Accommodations and Shared Spaces

Sleeping accommodations consist of two bedrooms with three twin beds per room and a shared bathroom. Guests acknowledge that rooms and facilities are shared and agree to respect other guests at all times.

The craft room is available 24 hours a day during the stay and is shared among all guests.

Guest Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for bringing their own crafting supplies and personal items. The Crafter’s Escape is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

Guests agree to treat the property, furnishings, and equipment with care. Any damage caused by a guest may result in additional charges.

Food and Beverages

Three meals per day, snacks, and hot and cold beverages are provided. Alcohol is not supplied by The Crafter’s Escape. Guests are expected to consume food and beverages responsibly and inform us in advance of any dietary concerns where possible.

Conduct and Respect

The Crafter’s Escape is a quiet, creative retreat. Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward others and maintain a peaceful environment. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the property without refund.

Health and Safety

Guests are responsible for their own health and safety during their stay. Participation in crafting activities is at the guest’s own risk. The Crafter’s Escape is not liable for injuries, accidents, or illnesses occurring during the retreat.

Website Use

All content on this website, including text, images, and branding, is the property of The Crafter’s Escape and may not be copied or used without permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Crafter’s Escape shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or participation in retreat stays.

Changes to These Terms

The Crafter’s Escape reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and take effect immediately upon publication.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
